SKOWHEGAN, Feb. 16 — Mrs. Lillace Alma Libby, 67, died Friday at a hospital in Waterville after a short illness. She was born in Canaan, daughter of Augustus Ames and Annie (Bragg) Ames, and passed her early life in that town. At one time the family made their home in this town. Her husband, Elmer Libby, died several years ago.

Mrs. Libby is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Oaks of this town, Mrs. Mary Foss of Madison and Mrs. Faye Foss, Winslow; two brothers, Irving Ames of Cornwall-on-the-Hudson, Lorenzo Ames of Madison; two sisters, Mrs. Stella Withee and Mrs. Helen Clark of this town; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the funeral home of A. J. Pooler, Madison avenue. Rev. Walter L. Sheppard, pastor of the Bethany [Baptist church, officiating — remainder not captured in this crop].
