Portrait painting of General Porfirio Diaz in a decorated dress uniform. It shows Diaz, not a member of the family; it sits with the Winchester Kelso page because his obituaries call Kelso a friend of President Diaz.

Image · source: Owner's family tree media (supplied in the GEDCOM/FTM collection)

How it is shown: Photograph as supplied; no crop, no retouch.

Keep in mind: A photograph, not a document. BACKGROUND, NOT A PORTRAIT OF OUR PERSON: the image shows Porfirio Diaz; Winchester (Judge W.) Kelso Sr. is tagged only as context (the 1925 obituaries describe his friendship with Diaz). Identity of the sitter: Diaz, from the image's tree title.
