Black-and-white photographic postcard portrait of General Porfirio Diaz, the printed line at the foot reading 'GRAL. DON PORFIRIO DIAZ, MEXICO'. It shows Diaz, not a member of the family; it is context for Winchester Kelso.

Image · source: Owner's family tree media (supplied in the GEDCOM/FTM collection)

How it is shown: Photograph as supplied; no crop, no retouch.

Keep in mind: A photograph, not a document. BACKGROUND, NOT A PORTRAIT OF OUR PERSON. Identity of the sitter: Confirmed as Diaz by the printed line; the card is captioned Diaz; Winchester (Judge W.) Kelso Sr. is tagged only as context (his 1925 obituaries describe his friendship with Diaz).
