Keep in mind: Part of pension file S.18534 (Chelsea, Vt.; later Maine). The file is a Confirmed record of the Chelsea pensioner; his identification with Nathaniel Oak born 1751 (parents John and Susanna) is the existing reviewed account and stays qualified. Do not merge this file with the Athens pension W.25398. Nathaniel Oak Junr of Exeter, who attests his identity, is read as the pensioner's son Nathaniel (born 1780) and tagged Likely; no other Nathaniel Jr. of Exeter was an adult in 1839.
