How it is shown: Complete page as supplied; no crop, no retouch, no search highlight.
Keep in mind: What the page says: Confirmed: the text is as in the caption; this is a printed transcription of the will, not the original manuscript. The faint lines showing through from the facing page include a reference 'Probate Office 8, 10', which belongs to a different will; the printed citation for this will, on the next page, is 'Probate Office 8, 13'. Whether these are our people: Confirmed that the testator is the tree's Francis Allen of Kittery (died 1749): the will was proved on 17 October 1749 and names a wife Hannah and the sons and daughters of the tree's family. The daughter Lydia named on the next page is the tree's Lydia Allen (born 1717), by her parentage.
