Word-for-word transcription (spellings kept; uncertain letters in brackets).

I Nathaniel Oak of Exeter in the County of Penobscot and State of Maine being in good health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory, and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs whilst I have strength and capacity so to do, do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills (if any) by me at any time heretofore made.

I hereby constitute Nathaniel Oak Jr and George Oak, both of said Exeter (my sons) and the survivor of them, Executors of this my last will and testament.

After payment of my just debts, expenses of last sickness & funeral charges, I dispose of my estate as follows:

I hereby give to my beloved wife Abigail Oak (should she survive me) one third part of my real Estate and the profits thereof during her natural life, remainder over to said Nathaniel Oak Jr and George Oak, their heirs and assigns, — and one third of my personal estate.

I give to my son Samuel Oak a piece of woodland of just twenty acres from the Cartland lot, and adjoining on the East the lot I have already given my said son Samuel. The Southerly end of said piece is bounded by a brook; and what is included between said South East corner and a line running parallel with the East line of the lot I have heretofore given said Samuel and the North line of said Cartland lot, is the parcel I hereby intend to give him, reserving however, the "clay pit," so called, including a half an acre to be owned in common
