How it is shown: Complete page as supplied; no crop, no retouch, no search highlight.
Keep in mind: What the page says: Confirmed: the entry is as in the caption; it is a compilation from the state's pay accounts and gives no age or family. A separate entry for a James Lamson of Roxbury, with a different unit, follows directly below and is not this man. The unit and the service dates match those cited on the Sons of the American Revolution page for patriot P-232624. Whether this is our person: Likely, not Confirmed, that this is the tree's James Lamson (died 18 March 1795 at Boothbay): the residence Boothbay agrees with his death place, but the tree gives his birth at Roxbury, which is also the town of the other James Lamson on this page, so the two entries cannot be separated by place alone.
