Fold3 memorial story 'Nathaniel Oak's Declaration for Pension # S18534' with the contributor's own notes: 'On 22 December 1837, Nathaniel Oak (age 86) of Chelsea ... testifies that Susannah Butler Marble is his half-sister', said to come from the Marble pension file. The affidavit itself has not been seen; the 21 pages of Nathaniel Oak's own file S.18534 contain no such statement.
