How to read this page
- Photos and clippings count items you can view here.
- Cited or transcribed records are counted separately.
- Story links lead to accounts about the person; “Mentioned in another story” marks a passing reference.
- Memorial links open Find a Grave.
- A “family recollection” label marks something a relative remembered, not a written record.
- A military-service label rates the record of that service, not the whole life.
Sex is as recorded in the family tree. Age at death is worked out from the dates shown and may be a range or an approximation. It is left out when a date is missing or is only a “before”, “after” or “between” date, when the research has found a date Unconfirmed, when the two dates conflict, or when they would mean an age over 110.

- Son: Onofrio Mancini born bet. 1844 and 1854
Likely evidence: show why
Why: Named as a parent in the 1875 marriage act; the identification of the couple with Lucia's parents is Likely (see the marriage). Death act 43 of 1871 calls Rosa Sacco the widow of Pasquale Mancini; it does not name Onofrio. Onofrio Mancini's 1875 marriage act names his late parents as Pasquale and a Sacco whose first name is unclear (possibly Rosa; that reading leans on this record and is not independent support). The identification is Likely, a provisional match on surname, husband's name, town and her death before the marriage. If Onofrio was born about 1844-45, as his 1875 marriage act implies, Rosa was about 45-46 at his birth; if about 1853-54, as Lucia's 1894 birth act implies, she was about 54-55, which would make the match hard to accept.
