Sex is as recorded in the family tree. Age at death is worked out from the dates shown and may be a range or an approximation. It is left out when a date is missing or is only a “before”, “after” or “between” date, when the research has found a date Unconfirmed, when the two dates conflict, or when they would mean an age over 110.

This story is about someone or something else, and names John Roebuck Kelso.
Why: Winchester Kelso's Texas death certificate (no. 38231) names his father as John Roebuck Kelso (born Tennessee) and his mother's maiden name as Ann Chisholm; the 1860 census has John R. Kelso, Ann and Winchester (2) in one DeWitt County household. The tree names the father 'John W Kelsoe'; the certificate and the 1860 census give John Roebuck (R.) Kelso, with the same birth year (about 1835) and wife Ann.

| Died | BET 1880 AND 1900 Likely evidence: show whyWhy: This 1935 death belongs to his son, born in February 1880, who died at Pleasanton on 13 September 1935; it would make the father about 100. The father was living at Clinton in June 1880, a 45-year-old farmer, with his second wife, whom he married in 1878, and the 1900 census lists her as a widow. He therefore died between the 1880s and 1900; no record of his death has been found. The 1935 date stays only as the tree's entry. Records:
